Comparison of energy consumption

After the comparison between the energy consumption of India and Germany, we found out, that 469 units (kWh) of energy was consumed in the Indian household while 451.6 units of energy were consumed in the German household. For the case of May, the Indian household consumed 639 units of energy while the German household consumed 384.1 units of energy.

In the month of January the energy consumptions (units) are nearby, where the heaters/air conditioners consume the greatest amount of energy in the Indian household whereas its the heater which consumes a huge amount of energy in the German household. There is a significant increase in the energy consumption of the Indian household and a significant drop in the energy consumption in the German household in April due to the fact there is a greater use of AC’s in India due to the extensive heat and lesser use of heater in Germany because the weather is moderate in April.

In order to save energy we can use coolers in India and we can prefer using AC’s with greater numbers of stars. The greater number of stars on the AC, the lesser the amount of energy is consumed. For the case of Germany we can prefer using lesser time and wear more layers of clothes. Also using fireplace is a good option too.
