During September month Indian student with German friend recorded sunshine hours in Delhi and Germany. In India air conditioners needs more energy whereas in Germany washing machines require more energy. Electronic items which are mostly used in India are air conditioners, fan, fridge, oven etc on the other hand in germany oven, washing machine, fridge are mostly used.
The average sunshine hours in delhi is 12.367 but in germany the average sunshine hours is 6.168. India has more sunshine hours as compared to germany. Therefore, there is an enormous scope for solar energy in India.
