Day 3 : Visit to Agra
It was great when we woke up before the sun-rise to leave for Agra, the city where the Taj is. We woke up at 4 and packed our bags to look forward to the amazing day. The mode of transport for the trip was an A.C. bus in which all of us slept, had our breakfast and heard to a lot of songs during the morning journey. There were a lot of halts during the journey. After a 4 hour long journey, we reached our destination. Though it was really hot, all of us were really excited to the one of the wonders of the world.
We walked and walked until we reached the Taj where a guide explained us the love story of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal in whose memory it was built. Such an epitome of love the Taj Mahal is. All of us appreciated the intricate carvings and the hardwork that was put into making the Taj.
Soon, we left for lunch at a grand restaurant, the Manchurian tasted really well. Alexandra and I felt that the food was really delicious. After the lunch, we went to the Agra fort which was really huge and fascinating. It was a good place to do photography.
We left for Delhi around 5 and it took us more than 5 hours to reach our destination due to the heavy traffic. We were really tired but the day was amazing.
