VISIT TO AGRA

We started our journey early in the morning. We reached our destiny at around 10. All of us were very much excited to see one of the seven wonders of the world. It was so mesmerising to see The Taj Mahal. There was a man who guided us about the history of Taj Mahal.
The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the river Yamuna in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The tomb is the centrepiece of a 17-hectre complex, which includes a mosque and a guest house, and is set in formal gardens bounded on three sides by a crenellated wall.
After an amazing experience at the Taj Mahal, we were tired and hungry, so we went for lunch. We all had Indian food i.e.
Dal Makhni, Shahi Paneer, Naan, Rice, Mixed vegetables, etc. The food at the restaurant was very delicious. After that we went for some shopping. There were different kinds of thing like Showpieces, Clothes, Tea, Spices, etc. That shop was very good. After that we headed towards The Agra Fort.
The Agra Fort is a historical fort in the city of Agra in India. It was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638, when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi. The Agra Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is about 2.5 km northwest of its more famous sister monument, the Taj Mahal. The fort can be more accurately described as a walled city.
At last , it was a great day and the overall experience was amazing. And fially, we left for Delhi.
